The “Peyrou d’amont” station is where the Alpine worlds meet, between meadow and glacier, at an altitude of 2416m.
This is the half-way stop (2400m) where you can change sections. In the alpine meadow, you can enjoy a relaxing contemplative break, a picnic break, with the option of buying your picnic, ice cream or refreshing drinks at the station, and discovering your surroundings.

The Peyrou d’Amont station, located at 2400m, offers a contemplative experience, allowing you to admire the surrounding environment in peace and quiet.
In the middle of the alpine meadow, you’ll find your senses in the water games, balance, climbing and mini zip line zone.
Children can play with the elements and their sensations.


The starting point for some of the most famous climbs on the Meije, as well as accessible hikes (refuge chancel, puy Vachier lake), a themed trail will explain the main features of the alpine zone you’ll be walking through.
