The 3200m station at the Col des Ruillans (Ruillans Pass) is the arrival of the cable car built by P.H.B. (Pohlig-Heckel-Bleichert). Facing the glaciers, you have access to exclusive facilities and the panoramic restaurant.
Each stage is equipped with 6 trains with 5 cars
(each car seats 6). There is a halfway stop (at 2400 m) to change stages and view the north face of the Meije.
Surrounded by snow in the middle of summer, you will be able to look closely upon glaciers and crevasses, the nearby Meije (3982 m) and the Mont Blanc.
The thematic course will give you a detailed overview of the landscape around you, to better understand it.
By using the 3 orientation tables you will be able to make out the most beautiful alpine summits.
There are a thousand ways to enjoy it: visiting a crevasse with the Guide Office, mountaineering, but also contemplation: the spectacle of the high mountains is sometimes itself enough. The thematic route on a secure part of the glacier will explain the life of the Girose glacier.
